I have a Lucy Pigg on my grandmother's (Phillips) side of the family. I thought they were in Laurel co., but that goes so far back, it could be another county. Just wondering if there were any relation to your Pigg side.

Lawrence/Bea, I came across a Paul Pigg who certified that Mrs. 'Polly' Hines was a widow so she could marry the old man ... Rev War Vet John Forbis/Forbes. They married Feb 20, 1820 'Clay Co' KY. I am thinking since Paul Pigg made the certification that maybe 'Polly' has a maiden name of Pigg. Do you know anything about this or do you have any idea who this Paul Pigg is ... obviously he was over 21 and living in Clay Co KY as of 1820. Seems like he may be part of your family lines from what I have been seeing on the internet. Thanks for any help and sharing of information/leads. 'R.E.' ... gggg-grandson of Rev War Vet John Forbis/Forbes who lived out his life in Laurel Co KY, died Jan 30, 1854 (b Aug 25, 1759 VA). PS ... After John died, 'Polly' was given a pension based on John's Rev War service.
No, I think I said my Henson line came out of Randolph Co NC, which it did. I may have also mentioned that a John Forbis is listed in the 1790 Randolph Co NC Census ... I am curious as to who this John Forbis is? Is he my Rev War Vet John Forbis/etc who settled in Laurel Co KY? Thanks Pat for trying to put all of these Forbis/etc together in family units. Not any easy thing to accomplish, but at least you at trying.
