Belle and Jasper Wages first marriage. Nannie and Jasper Wages second marriage. I am wondering if you could help my Jasper find his nephew. The only time that Jasper seen him was in Clovis, Calif. in 1943 while he was in the Service. He knows the little Boy at the time name was Billy Goins. Now Goins is not for sure. Billy's Mother's name was Oleda Wages. adopted to a Calvin King in North Ky. Jasper assumes that his Daddy was William Goins but not sure. Jasper Mother died when Jasper was 29 months old. Message Board and read the queries posted by Dana HUDSON and my responses. I have been dealing with the name, Higy with their WAGERS/WAGES family. It seems almost too coincidental that there would not be some relationship between the two of you. Note if Jasper WAGERS was b. 10-1880 he would have missed the 1880 Fed. Census. Hi, I knew a Highy Wages in Laurel County, Ky. Don't know if that is how he spelled his name or not. Never married as far a I know. I used to visit him a little girl. Took food to him. Would sit and talk with him : he listened more than talked. He lived in a house with no electricity to it and his well was across the road from where he lived.
