The "official" place to obtain these is from Bureau of Vital Statistics in Frankfort, KY and there are quite a few delayed ones 1910 back to about 1900. Mary Alice

Lonnie, KY didn't issue "official" death certificates before 1911. There are scattered records of births and deaths prior to that, which may help you, as one of the periods that is usually covered is 1852-1859. You'll generally find info on these births and deaths in either the County Court Clerk's office or through KDLA. These old records have also been microfilmed and are available like that.
