    3. Deronda, Thank you for your help but I don't see any names on your list that match mine. My great grandfather's name was Marret (Mount) Stewart. He married Betty Ann Sester in Clay County in December of 1875. They moved to Rockcastle County, Scaffold Cane at some point in time. That is about all I know about him. I found a Marret Stewart listed in 1860 census living in New Castle, Henry County, KY. I think that may be him as it is an unusual name. He is listed with Betty and children as Mount in the 1910 census. On the 1920 census Betty is listed as head of house iving close to her son Cornelius (Kernel) Stewart in Jackson County, Pond Creek. I assume Marret (Mount) passed away within that time period. I would love to know anything about Marret Stewart's line and would like to know where either he or Betty are buried. Any information would be greatly appreciated. 3. I found something interesting in your research. I am showing a 'Mary Reynolds' married Isaac Forbis/Faubus/etc on Nov 17, 1854 in Schuyler County, MO. Isaac is a brother to Nancy Forbis/Faubus/etc who married Hezekiah Smallwood Jr on Jan 25, 1849 Laurel Co KY ... marriage performed by Hiram Casteel and witnessed by Isaac Forbes. Isaac and Nancy are children of Hugh S.Forbis/Faubus/etc and Francis 'Fanny' Milborn/Milburn who married Oct 26, 1831 Laurel Co KY. Curious about the 'Mrs' Mary Reynolds that married Feb 09, 1854 Rockcastle Co KY. Thanks for sharing. By the way, my gggrandfather George W Henson b abt 1799 NC (of 1828/47 Laurel Co KY Tax List and 1850 Laurel Co KY Census in household of John Drew and Ibbby), married into the Forbis family, through his wife Anna Forbis, daughter of William Forbis of Laurel Co KY, grandaughter of Rev War Vet John Forbis who settled and lived out his life in Laurel Co KY. Please note that many of the Forbis/Forbus/Faubus/etc spellings are of the same family line with the common root name being (Forbes). Thanks for your help and sharing. Helen Wildermuth,(Stonehugger Cemetery Restoration) and me,Mark Davis,(Stone Saver Cemetery Restoration) will be the principal restorationists of all the stones. We are being retained by the City of London and a KY grant to bring the cemetery back into pioneer cemetery standards. This should take place sometime this year after the archaeology work is completed. I would like any biographical, family history, unusual stories, burial info, obits, etc of any known burials. I also would like detailed military information about USA/CSA skirmishes/clashes within the immediate area of the cemetery. A large number of unmarked and fieldstone marked graves are present. If you have any information of unmarked burials that would also be invaluable. 3. Glenda, I have lots of Stewarts listed, but I only have one Simpson. Interestingly enough.... Its James Simpson who married Sally Boggs. Sally Boggs happens to be the daughter of Jesse C. Boggs and Sally Stewart. Who knows maybe somewhere there is a connection in there somewhere. Sally and Jesse were married in 1872. Deronda > That is what I have been trying to discover. I don't know much about that side of the family but they are buried in the cemetery located just past the main part of E. Bernstadt on Rt. 490. Their daughter Dora married Cornelius (Kernel) Stewart and they are buried there as well. Dora was my grandfather John's sister and Cornelius was my grandmother Fannie Jane Stewart's brother. I have somewhat of a handle on the Simpson's but not the Moore's. I am very new to geneaology so any suggestions would be appreciated. Glenda (Her name was spelled Deby on one of the cesus.)

    3. Sandra, Yes, thank you, I'd be very interested in any information on the Nancy Moore who married Joseph Pruitt (Prewitt). Basically all I do know about her is that she was supposed to have been born somewhere in Tn in May 1804 and married in Rockcastle Co in 1845 (puts her at 41 yrs old, which would make you wonder if she had previously been married). So anything you have would be helpful. Thanks, Deronda > I have some information on Nancy Moore who married Joseph Pruitt (Prewitt). > if you want that information let me know - it's based on census records but > it's a good starting point > > Sandra Branson Young >

    3. What a great idea! God bless both of you! How much do you charge per grave or by stone? Many of my Clarks are in unmarked graves in KY... how would you handle this? thanx, charlotte dadamiro@yahoo.com Mark Davis <md9105@rogerscomputers.net> wrote: I was at London,KY yesterday taking "before" documentation photos of the headstones at 13th St(Breastworks/City Cemetery). 3. I don't think Laurel Co KY existed until abt 1826 if my memory serves me correctly. Maybe it would help if you could find the county where Marilla Moore was born and then check out the Moores of that County. She may have been living in one of the adjacent Counties that was partly taken to create Laurel Co KY. Thanks for sharing and good luck in your search for Marilla's parents. Please let everyone know if you find them. I have a Moore in my family history also. This is Marilla Moore, she was my gg grandmother on my father's side. The only information I have about her is that she was born in 1816 in Laurel County, married my gg grandfather Riley Watkins in 1832 in Laurel County, and died in 1895 in Laurel County. That is all that I know about her, so would appreciate any information. 3. Sandra Thanks, but that must be another Marilla Moore. The information that I have is that my Marilla was born in 1816, married in 1832, which would make her only 16 years old at the time, but I guess girls tended to get married at a pretty early age back at that time. I have that she died in 1895. Olan Watkins
