    3. Just an added thought - the Laurel Co. Historical Society has cemetery books (by area also.) They included various info such as who the deceased's parents or spouse(s) were. Occasionally some info is found to be incorrect, but overall I think that's a huge value add to any cemetery books. I have a bunch of Laurel/Knox/Whitley KY death certs that I'm scanning into my computer. One that I'm looking at at this moment is Elijah Andrew Norvell d. March 5, 1935 at the age of 62 yrs 11 mos. The death cert is for Whitley Co., the residence is Corbin and the burial location is "McHargue (Private)" - his mother was Mary McHargue. The only McHargue Cemetery that I know of right now is in southern Laurel Co. (very close to Lynn Camp.) It's this sort of cemetery hunting that drives me nuts (and is so fun) when doing research. I could pick out the Knox Co. death certs and send copies to anyone who may be interested in the data in them. Let me know if anyone wants the info from these death certs. The surveys when completed will be for the benefit of the Knox County Genealogical Society. We are considering instead of one volume, making several volumes and separating it out by areas of Knox County. The proceeds from this project will benefit the Knox County Genealogical Society. Thanks for you help in this matter. > > Ed Elam > _____________________________________________________________________ > Get your own family web site at at www.MyFamily.com! > > --MyFaMiLyMiMeBoUnDaRy02292000-- > > ============================== > To join Ancestry.com and access our 1.2 billion online genealogy records, go to: > http://www.ancestry.com/rd/redir.asp?targetid=571&sourceid=1237
