He was a hog farmer in Knox County, Kentucky and was married to Lillie Williams Short. Lillie passed away in 1942 and is buried at Grindstaff Cemetery. Bob Short supposedly passed away in 1956. I have been unable to find any record of his death. Bob and Lillie had several children: "J.K." John Kyle, Hugh, Mayme, Frank, Caleb, Kate, Sarah, Howard, John Robert (Jr.) and Jefferson Short. I am related to the Shorts through Kate Short. She married James "Jim" Short, son of "Ben" Benjamin Franklin Suttles and Alice Poindexter Suttles. Jim and Kate (Short) Suttles had two boy, Clyde and Don. Clyde Suttles is my grandfather. Thank you in advance!
