The books you all are talking about are, "Barbourville, Kentucky, A Pictorial LooK Back," by Michael C. Mills, published by Michael in 1976 or 77, I believe this book is of print. Another book Michael published in conjunction with the Knox Historical Society is "Looking Back with Michael Mills and the Knox County Historical Society, Inc." - this book is mostly about families in Knox County with pictures. I don't know when it was published or is there are copies available. The most current book was published about two years ago and is titled, " Images of America - Barbourville and Knox County," by Michael Mills, published by Arcadia Publishing, Charleston, SC. Copies can be purchased through the publisher's toll free telephone number - 1 - 888-313-2665. Don't remember the cost, but it was very reasonable. These are great books and we should be grateful to Michael for his diligence in collecting old pictures and preserving them. I believe that all of his photos are on file at the Knox Historical Museum at Barbourville on Daniel Boone Drive. Hope this helps.
