RESPONSE: I am not related to your surname, JEROME, so far as I know. You might wish to consider joining http://www.ancestry.com in order to do some wide-spread searches to pinpoint your family. I have found their data bases very helpful. I did locate on the 1891 Voters List for Shelby Co., TN, the following JEROME persons: JEROME, Columbus JEROME, Rich JEROME, Hy JEROME, John JEROME, S. JEROME, N. JEROME, L. JEROME, John You might wish to check further in that county. It is difficult to know just how JEROME was spelled in the census records so you might try several different possible spellings or the soundex. I assume that Charles, Columbus and George JEROME were siblings who came to this country from France. If they came as adults, it would be unlikely you could locate their parents. Are you aware of where any of them died? Kentucky did not begin a formalized recordkeeping system for births and deaths until 1911. The dau., Josephine, do you know who and where she married?
