Hey Vern, I know my side of the Smith/Bailey feud...What were u wanting to know about it or what have you heard?..email me privately and I can tell you what was passed down to me..But like my brother Eugene said, Bill Bailey shot and killed my GGrandfather, Floyd Smith, for no good reason and was set free....     3. Most of my Knox County ancestors came from Scott County, Virginia, and left relatives in Virginia, Tennessee and Kentucky. This is a link the 1890 Veterans Schedules for several Virginia Counties, including Scott. So far I have two people that may belong in my family. In 1890 many Civil War veterans were still alive. This document gives state, regiment, company and dates served for most of the entries, and could be a great help.
