He was a preacher. Their first son's name was William K. Evans. He was born in 1825 and he married Sarah 'Sallie' Peavler. She was born in 1829 VA. She and others to include her sons went to MO and died there. Some of the sons tried to come back to KY and died in route. Some died while trying to cross the river. I am not for sure as to which river. All in all the couple [Margaret and Wm H. Evans] had 13 children. One of their children [Elizabeth Evans] married a Shelton Partin, they were my gggrandparents.
