Can anyone tell me if the Alonzo Mills here is the son of Benjamin Mills and America Gambrel? Thanks, Cassy. Marie Grubb Mills, 73, of Scalf, passed away at her residence on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002. She was a daughter of the late Jeff and Minda Smallwood Grubb. She was a member of the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, Alonzo Mills of Scalf; her children, Lola Mae Mills and husband Dexter, Janice Sue Mills, Betty Faye Mills, all of Scalf, Judy Gail Brown and husband Bowman of Scalf, C. J. Mills and wife Joyce Faye of Coles Branch, Buford Mills of Jeffs Creek; twelve grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; her sisters, Maggie Messer of Bright Shade, Sudie Grubb Parsons of Florida, Ruth Grubb Halcomb of Ohio and Edith Grubb Yeager of Ohio; her brothers, Baxter Grubb of Lexington, twin brothers, Tole Grubb of Lexington and Lawrence Grubb of Bright Shade, Arthur Grubb of Nicholasville. Funeral services were conducted in the Hubbard Missionary Baptist Church at Hubbard on Monday, Oct. 28, 2002 with the Rev. Herman Mills and the Rev. Ricky Broughton off! iciating.
