In family lore the wilosns owned the land Ft Knox was built on. John went to Putnam Co Indiana and later to Iowa and died in Nebraska. Family stories also say he had several brothers, some of whom fought for the Union and some for the south and the family that fought for the south were never heard from again. John and Martha had sons Allen, Owen, Edward, Thomas Henry and John and daughters Nancy and Lydia.All except the youngest Henry were born in Indiana. Martha was possibly from Shelby Co KY. Any links to this family and Johns and Martha's parents would be really appreciated!
