I am trying to sort out who brothers James Payne b. 11 Apr 1888 and Charlie Payne b. May 1899 married. Both are children of John Grant Payne and Mary jane Payne. I believe that James m. Bertha Sams d/o Greenbury Sams and that Charlie married Bertha Cole on 7 Feb 1920 parents Unknown. Does anyone know who Bertha Cole's parents were? or when Bertha Sams and james married?
