All spellings of the name are welcome. The project involves testing for Y-chromosome dna of men with the Bingham/Bigham/Bigum/Bingamon, etc surname. The sample is taken from the inside of the cheek, using a simple swab. This project was started for the purpose of breaking through the brick wall of locating our earlier Bingham ancestors. You can read more about dna research by going to www.familytreedna.com. The cost is $99 plus $2 shipping per kit. You can also email me (pegsgirl@juno.com) for more information.
