Hi Carol, well here it's another friday, and still, the book hasn't arrived, it's been well over a week, since you said you mailed it, and the check was cashed the 7th, so that's been over 2 weeks since it cleared, so after my mail ran today, i went to the post office to see what the procedure and time for " media mail" was, since you said it had been sent that way, and our postmaster told me it should have been here by now,...as the mails are not that heavy this time of year, and he said for me to ask you ' EXACTLY WHAT DATE DID YOU MAIL THE BOOK TO ME', and of course you'll have an INSURANCE CLAIM NUMBER FOR THE BOOK, BECAUSE OF THE PRICE THAT WAS BEING PAID/THE VALUE OF THE BOOK, so he said for you to send me that number, and he'll put a tracer on it at once, he doesn't need a copy of the reciept, just the numbers off it, and then he LECTURED ME FOR 10 MINUTES, on INTERNET FRAUD and buying via the internet from strangers, t he penalities etc etc...i REALLY needed that, (you'd think i was going into internet business) it's 10 degrees outside, and i was standing there holding my 8 month old grandbaby,..........geez.... but anyway, do get that information to me, as i do want the book, and it was offered for sale, and bought in good faith, thanks so much, Deborah ----- Original Message ----- From: Shyanne50@aol.com To: willows@fullnet.net Sent: Saturday, December 28, 2002 5:23 PM Subject: Re: Knox Co KY History and Families The subject book is published by Turner and costs about $60.00.
