Joyce Taylor Collins La Palma, CA Message text written by "Virgil Scalf" >Hello Joyce, I hope I am doing this correctly. If I sent this message to the wrong person, please point me in the right direction. I am trying to find some information on Nelson and Elizabeth Gray. Nelson and Elizabeth are supposed to have married in Knox County in 1877. I found the family in the 1900 Knox Co., KY census. My interest is Elizabeth Gray. I have been researching the Scalf family of Knox County for many years. According to the 1900 Knox Co. census, Elizabeth was born around 1860. Some people believe that she is the Susan E. Scalf listed with the Thomas Jefferson Scalf family in the 1860 and 1870 Knox Co. census. However, I believe they are two different people. I have reached a dead end at this point. Sorry about the long message. I usually visit Barbourville twice a year. I was raised in Barbourville and graduated from Knox Central in 1961. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
