    1. Death date of Elizabeth Bays b. Nov 1869
    2. Joyce Collins
    3. RESPONSE: Sorry, I could not locate a date of death in KY on your Elizabeth BAYS. I was able to locate them on both the 1910 and the 1930 Knox Co. Fed. Census. So, at least you know they both were living as of that date (1930). 1910 Knox Co. Enum. Dist. 0103 Dwelling 122 BAYS, George, 49, b . KY . . Elizebeth, 39, wife, b. KY . . William, son, 18, KY . . John, 12, son, KY . . Florence, 10, dau, KY . . Jessie, 7, son, KY . . Loyd, 3, son, KY 1930 Knox Co. Flat Lick Town Dwelling _____(sorry I forgot to copy it down) BAYS, George, 65, head, b. KY . . Elizabeth, 55, wife, KY . . Loyd, 22, son, KY . . Lenard, grandson, 8, KY I did locate this death record which may or may not be a correct one for George. One would think at their ages, they would have stayed put in Knox but maybe not. BAYS, George W., lived and died in Greenup Co., KY; died 5-26-1949 at the age of 86 years, Vol. 019, Cert #09320 NOTE: At least the age calculates close. This other date of death you probably were giving looks good until you check the age plus the fact she was alive in 1930: BAYS, Elizabeth, died in Knox Co. on 5-21-1918 at the age of 80 years, Vol. 028, Cert 13814 NOTE: which would equate to a birth year of 1838 - - not correct!!! Joyce Taylor Collins La Palma, CA p.s. I checked the entire state and I checked under Elizabeth, Lizzie, Eliza Message text written by INTERNET:KYKNOX-L@rootsweb.com >Howdy, I am wondering as it was brought to my attention that my greatgrand mother couldn't have died in 1918 as she was still alive in 1920. So the question is; Does anyone out there know when she died? The info on the 1900 Census KNX-280A dw 174-182 Bays, George W. b. Mar 1863 m 11 ch 5-5 Elizabeth b. Nov 1869 Thomas b. Nov 1889 Wm H. b. Dec 1891 Cora b. May 1894 John J. b. Jan 1898 Florence b. Mar 1900 Now, either these dates are right or someone else gave the wrong ones. I do not know when and where she died or where she is buried. If anyone can tell me, please do. Thanks<
