James Isaac "Jim Ike" MILLS ,b. abt. 1834; mar. Dec. 28, 1856 in Clay Co. to Nancy "Jane" SMITH. Jim Ike's parents were Isaac MILLS Lavina HAMMONS. Isaac MILLS was a brother to Clark "Big Clark " MILLS who married first to Sarah TAYLOR and 2nd to Margaret TAYLOR (dau.'s of Cornelius Alexander TAYLOR and Sarah Ann WALKER TAYLOR of Knox co.). Basically they are all related and trace back to Nasby and Esther HADDOCK MILLS. Interesting to know about what you think re Martha, b. abt. 1863 as the possible wife of our missing Daughtery/Daw BROWN. I would think that is quite possible. I didn't have anything further on her. As you are probably quite aware, her father married at least 3 times so he lived all about in Knox and in Clay Co. Harrison MILLS, b. July 24 , 1840 in Knox Co. d. March 19, 1905 in Clay Co. He married: Rachel LEWIS, Prudy BRITTAIN and Mary Robinson and he was the son of Clark "Big Clark" MILLS (among others) b. April 17, 1817 in MO; died August 28, 1891 in Knox Co.
