Last evening I sent you some information on your particular line of the MILLS family. Yes, it is and still can be very confusing because family given names were repeated over and over again in many generations. Searching for our families is an interesting, sometimes confusing, but wonderful long-term hobby or search. Repeating of names and families marrying back and forth is not peculiar just to Knox Co. but to most all of the areas around for that time. Overall, our ancestors were a very fascinating bunch. I do not know if you are a beginner or not. However, if you are, I would make the suggestion that you first either purchase some type of genealogy program or download one that is on line and free. In either case, start with yourself or what is known and work backwards confirming information with source materials as they are located. By the time you enter yourself, your siblings, their spouses, then your parents, your parents' siblings, your grandparents, their siblings, all the marriages, the births, the deaths, you will be kept busy for a long, long time. A genealogy program simply helps you to easily see what you have and what you don't have. And you can always return to some specific spot later on without missplacing that material. I would also suggest you return to the Knox Co. Message Board and in the upper left hand corner where there is a search line, simply type in the surname, MILLS and be sure to click on "Knox". The system will give you ALL the queries, responses, etc. where the name MILLS was mentioned. It is a good way to acquaint yourself with the many, many MILLS cousins you have out there. It will also be educational in that you will learn more and more about the fairly large number of Nasby MILLS' children and how they are all connected one to the other in the later generations.
