Mary Belle MILLS, b. abt. 1885; died abt. 1956. Her marriage to William SiMPSON is of record in Bell Co., KY and was on April 30, 1896. You could order a copy of that marriage. Mary Belle's parents were: Isaac MILLS, b. Aug 1845 in Knox Co.; died Dec. 7, 1957 in Knox Co.; married April 7, 1870 in Knox Co. to Margaret Ann TAYLOR (whose parents were: Isaac "Ike" TAYLOR and Permelia Ann HAMMONS). Isaac TAYLOR was an older brother to my g-grandfather, Harrison TAYLOR, both sons of Cornelius Alexander TAYLOR and Sarah Ann WALKER TAYLOR. On November 23, 1902 in Knox Co., Mary Belle MILLS married a 2nd time to John G. WARREN (s/o Cornelius T. WARREN and Martha MESSER). John G. was born Feb. 3, 1870 in Knox Co. and died March 7, 1933 in Knox Co. The following information comes from Carolyn GAMBREL from a dead cert: WARREN, John, b. 2-3-1870; d. 3-7-1933 in Knox Co., KY Male, white, married; age: 63 yrs, 1 mo, 4 days Wife: Mary MILLS; occupation: farmer Father: Nealy WARREN, b. KY Mother: Martha MESSER, b. KY Informant: Mrs. John WARREN Cause of death: Fracture of spine - duration 25 days Manner of injury: crushed by falling tree John WARREN died as a result of a tree falling on him. John's wife, Mary Bell buried a husband and a son within a one-two week period. Mary Belle was the dau. of Isaac MILLS and Margaret TAYLOR.
