Fromt the information you gave me I found that Joseph and Jane Baker also went to Missouri, so that could explain why no marriage record in Knox County, but I haven't confirmed this information is accurate yet. To answer your question I am researching the Rogers line from Franklin county Illinois and Jackson County Tennessee. Desmond Rogers born 1899 in Franklin County Illinois married Blanche McGee born 1910 Illinois, she was the daughter of James Orville McGhee and Telithia Messer. First census I have with the two of them is the 1910 they are livng in Union County Illinois, then in 1920 they are living in Franklin County Illinois, sometime they were supposed to have lived in Jackson County Illinois, their daughter Blanche is supposed to have been born there, I haven't actually found her birth record yet though, that is why I left her place of birth blank above. On August 24, 1920 Telithia died from complications (Puerperal Sepsis) from childbirth on July 9, 1920. the information given on the death certificate is from her husband James Mcghee. Birthdate given is June 22, 1886, age 34 years 2 months 2 days, buried Zeigler cemetery Franklin County Illinois. I have just recieved this death certificate this week so I have not gotten a listing for Ziegler Cemetery to see if her parents might also be buried there. I did find a record for a Celia Messer death in Union County in 1931, trying to find the 1930 census for her to see if could be the mother before I order the death certificate. I hope this answered all your question, I tried to include all the information but please let me know if I can provide any additional information. I have not been able to find the McGhee's or the Messer's in the 1900 census to find where and when James and Telithia got married. James McGhee is from White County Illinois, but I could find no record of the Messer's there.
