Is there any mentioning of who the father of her grandson, Colson Brown (1901) was? His mother is Thursann (1877) and it is speculated that Silas Combs was his father. I've done numerous searches and it only shows up with one fellow in Kentucky, around the time. He was born in 1861 and married to Sylvia 'Sip' Ison. I'm lead to believe Colson was also an illegitimate child. There hasn't been any solid information presented to me. I know this is a longshot, but, it's worth a try. I've been having a difficult time piecing the clues together. Thanks in advance!
