Hi Bob They had a re-enactment at Ft. Meigs today. Have you ever attended one they've had. Where do you live? Perhaps you aren't close enough to visit. I've never been able to go, but would love to one day. As you know it's located there at Perrysburg, OH. Well, right after the war the stockade walls were torn down and the settlers used the timbers to build their houses. During my years in Real Estate I had the privilege to be in one of those houses. That fact always amazed me. Then when I retired from Real Estate I started my genealogy. Finding my Benjamin McKeehan had been here in my area was definitely a pleasant surprise. Proud of my ancestors and what they did to further the Freedom we all enjoy today. It's good for those visiting Ft Meigs to learn so many KY men answered the call...Lois . A large number of people paid tribute, today, by taking time to visit my War of 1812 webpage. It shows considerable respect to those who make daily sacrifices on our behalf......not only in the military but as civil servants and the like. Let us never forget. Regards, Bob Walker Stop telling God how big your storm is. Instead tell your storm how big your GOD is! God wants spiritual fruit, not religious nuts.
