I am trying to track backward the whereabouts of one MORGAN HARBIN who was apparently traveling the Wilderness Road from TN to Louisville. I have him in Louisville in 1845 as a wagoner, before that in Mercer County in 1840, and before that in Laurel County from 1827-1836. Now I would like to know if he appears in any tax records, or anything in Knox county. They would have been a young couple with at least one daughter. I would be ecstatic if they were with his parents - whoever they might have been! Before I pay to order deed records form SLC, does anyone have access to anything that would place him in Knox at all? Would appreciate any help getting him back to the TN counties and I hope his parents. Thank you. Joan Marie in Oregon
