SCALF b. 2-1-1928 in Knox Co.; Vol. 017, Cert 08047; maiden name of mother: Mary PURSIFULL MARRIAGE RECORD: June 20, 1909 Book A-12 W. H. PURSIFULL to Flora E. WILSON in Knox Co., KY Now, on the 1920 Knox Co. Dwelling 94-95 - Himyar PURSFULL, James, head, 63, widow, b. KY; parents b. KY - general farming . .Hubart, son, 34, married, b. KY . .Flora, wife, 30, married, b. kY . Mary, dau, 9, b. KY . .Ruby, dau, 1, b. KY So, Flora WILSON PURSIFULL was the actual mother of Mary and Ruby. Then apparently abt. 1928, he married to this Jennie HELTON person. Difficult to know who that might be. Don't see the marriage in Knox or Bell Co. Perhaps this Jennie had earlier on married some HELTON and then later on married W. H. PURSIFUL. As of the 1900 Knox Co., there are NO Jennie or similiarly named HELTONs there. There is a Jennie, b. 1865 married to a James P., b. 1863 with several children.
