My gg-grandfather, Cornelius Alexander TAYLOR served in the War of 1812. He later married Sarah Ann WALKER, dau. of Walter WALKER who was a brother to the older John WALKER of Knox Co. There were a number of other Knox Co. residents who also served in the War of 1812. Thanks, Joyce.
