For you WALKERs and TAYLORS out there, John WALKER and Christopher WALKER, sons of the elder John WALKER of Knox Co., KY were in the War of 1812. My gg-grandfather, Cornelius Alexander TAYLOR served in the War of 1812. He later married Sarah Ann WALKER, dau. of Walter WALKER who was a brother to the older John WALKER of Knox Co. There were a number of other Knox Co. residents who also served in the War of 1812. Thanks, Joyce. I should have added that the webpage was started to include only the Company of Ambrose Arthur of Knox County, and was then expanded to include all who fought at the Battle for Fort Meigs. If your ancestor is shown you should definately download the chapter out of Lossing's book. Bob Walker
