I just noticed your message and think I have a connection to you. I am also related in the baker, gray linage or flat lick ky. This matt Baker you posted, I believe is listed on my Ggrandmothers marriage cert. There is a matt baker and a Jeff baker listed there. On this marriage cert I have its between Ambrose Baker and Mary Gray in 1877. Ambrose Baker is the son of Johanna Leath Baker and John Baker. Johanna is the daughter of Ambraham leath and Catherine Baker leath. It gets a bit confussing. OK! Back to Sarah Gray. I also have a Sarah Gray that is somehow related to my fathers side. I do have a photo and my father Joseph Epperson knows or has heard them speak of her as Koos Gray! Don't know why! LOL! I would love to share more. By any chance do you live in the knox county area? I will be traveling through that area on May 4-6 2006 of this year. I am looking or trying to find this baker linage that still live there. I understand there are about a handful left.
