My gggreatfather George W Henson b 1799 NC and his wife Anna Forbis-Henson sold their last 50 acres in Jackson Co KY in 1859 to a John EVANS. George W and Anna Henson moved to MO and were found in the 1860 Webster Co MO census as George 'Hanson'. I noticed that Anna's older sister Elizabeth Forbis-Porter and Elizabeth's husband Harrison Ross Porter were found in the household of Elijah EVANS and his wife Matilda Moore-EVANS (who married June 05, 1820 Knox Co KY) per the 1850 Laurel Co KY Census. Sure would like to know how John EVANS connects to the Evans-Forbis-Moore-Henson of Knox/Laurel/Jackson Co KY. Thanks for sharing whatever you can on these 'connected' families. 'R.E.'
