I am just hoping you will hang on to this information and continue to try to connect with some other BUCHANAN researcher or locate a marriage record or something to tie them all together. I may be completely wrong. It sure has happened in the past. With regard to Grace LOGAN, I checked the 1910 Index to see what would come up. There was a Grace LOGAN b. abt. 1909 with her parents in Letcher Co., KY. They were a Howard and Ada. Then I saw this one, the only other one that comes up in KY. 1910 Whitley Co., KY - Level Green Dwelling 177-178 LOGAN, Mary J., 26, widow, b. KY; parents b. KY - 3 born; 3 living . .Willie, 7, son, b. KY . .Grace, dau, 5, b. KY * * * . .Lum, son, 2, b. KY (Lum is short for Columbus) LOGAN, James, 12, nephew, b. KY Living right beside her is: (my copy is light and very difficult to read) Dwelling 176-177 LOGAN, Columbus C., 69, head, mar. 2 times, mar. 18 yrs, b. KY; parents b. KY - farmer . .Nancy, wife, 38, mar. 1, mar. 18 yrs, 6 born; 6 living, b. KY; parents b. KY . _______, son, 16, b. KY . .Eawars?, son, 12, b. KY . .Mar__, 4, dau, b. KY . .Minnie, 6, dau, b. KY . .James, 4, son, b. KY . Luary??, 8 months, b. KY Anyway, I really think you need to look at the Whitley Co., KY marriage records because it is literally right next to Knox Co. For example, I am thinking that Corbin is in Whitley, Laurel and Knox depending upon where you happen to be. The fact that John and Belle were in Whitley in 1900 and this Mary Jane with Grace (of the correct age range) is in Whitley Co. makes in likely they married there. In the Vital Stats for Whitley Co., I found this birth which provides the maiden name for Columbus LOGANs wife: BIRTH 7-27-1903 LOGAN, Minnie, female born to: C. C. LOGAN and Nancy JONES . Shows Knox Co. as birthplaces for the two of them. Now I just happen to see this birth which "could" be the father for Grace LOGAN: 4-8-1903 LOGAN, W. A., male to: "Joe LOGAN" and M. J. LAWSON - both born in Whitley Co., KY NOTE: I am thinking the W. A. could be Willie on the 1910 Whitley. Joyce Taylor Collins La Palma, CA
