There are several William CAMPBELLs listed but none marrying before 1810. Regarding Elizabeth CAMPBELL, there is only one marriage listed as follows: January 23, 1834 GHOURLEY, William to CAMPBELL, Elisabeth by Wm. HOPPER, minister There are NO McCABE marriages at all in Knox Co. before 1850 listed in Marriage Book A. The fact you state this possibly Andrew McCABE married another Elizabeth who was a HENSLEY makes me think he might have been in Harlan Co. Lots of HENSLEY's in that particular county. Harlan Co. was formed in 1819 from parts of Knox Co. I see the 1850 Census listing for Andrew as follows: Dwelling 508-519 McCABE, Andrew, 34, farmer, b. KY . .Elizabeth, 27, b. KY In the next dwelling of Isaac and Margaret FOWLER, ages in their 40's, there is a Jane CAmPBELL, age 68, from NC.
