RESPONSE: Sorry, I am not familiar with "a" Coleman WALKER. I did see on Ancestry there was a Coleman WALKER on the 1820 Mercer Co., KY Fed. Census. I also saw they have the 1814 marriage you refer to indexed as Nancy FOWBUSH to Coleman WALKER in Madison Co., KY. The father of my Sarah Ann WALKER b. 1795 was Walter WALKER, brother to the JOhn WALKER who was in Knox Co. early on. Walter moved around and was in Owen Co., IN for several census periods prior to his death. A couple of his daughters married there in the 1830's and he died there in 1850. In the intestate estate court proceedings, his heirs are named, including my Sarah listed under her married name of "Sarah TAYLOR". We were fortunate to have passed down an old letter from the 1840's signed by Walter WALKER telling my gg-grandparents where he was and some of what was happening in the family. It was for this reason we were able to track him to IN and eventually prove his relationship to his brother, John WALKER, and prove an even earlier connection to his father, another John WALKER, who died in Hawkins Co., TN in 1814 .
