    2. RESPONSE: For quite a while, I had this Roger PATTERSON too that I had gotten from someone. In any case, when I went back and looked at the actual microfilm, I could see how someone might list the name as Roger but. . . I really think what is written as of the 1930 census is: Kager which could have also been spelled as Cager being short for Mihager or a similiarly spelled proper given name. 1930 Knox Co., KY - Artemus Dwelling _____ PATTERSON, Kager or Roger, 43, mar. at 27, b.
