    2. RESPONSE: Kentucky did not begin to record births and deaths until 1911 and even then it was far from perfect. I suspect he has no birth record. Sometimes you will find a long delayed one that has been reconstructed because of serving in the military or Soc. Sec. or something like that. The tombstones are often the best we have and I have found many errors on them too. People did not keep good records and sometimes there was a delay between the actual death and the setting of a stone later one.     3. Joyce, May I ask you if you have anything on Mae Milton Clark, who died in 1978, born I think in 1905? Married to a Hiram Taylor? Please any information will help. I think this person is mentioned in my Grandfathers will, as his widow, would like to know more about it.
