FRANKS, age 75 of Middletown, died at her residence Friday evening, June 2. She was born October 14, 1930 in Knox County, Kentucky the daughter of Lawrence Bright and Alice (Johnson) Bright. Mattie was the owner and operator of Frank's Shoe Store, Franklin, and the Fashion Outlet in Springboro. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband whom she married on February 16, 1952, William O. Franks; two daughters, Linda Coyle and Darlene (husband, Randy) Turnbow, both of Monroe, Ohio; one son, Rich (wife, Peggy) Franks of Kyle, Texas; nine grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Delmer Bright of Dewitt, Kentucky, Wilma Stamper of Middletown, Lawrence Bright, Jr. of Knox County, Kentucky, and Norma Averill of Palm City, Florida. She was preceded in death by a son, William F. Franks in 1989. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday, June 6, at the Breitenbach-McCoy-Leffler Funeral Home, with the Reverend Howard! Sears officiating. Visitation will be 5-8:00 PM Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Grace Memorial Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family via our website, [email protected]
