    3. Can someone please tell me if there is mountain range on the border between Bell and Knox counties? I would like to know if Bell county is inside or outside of the Cumberland River basin. Thanks. Ron

    2. Hi, I am sitting about 12 miles from Bell county right now, I have been in Kentucky for about 10 days. The mountains right inside of Bell County is called Pine Mountain and the people I am staying with have lived here all their lives and they said they can't remember those mountains being called much of anything. They said they have heard them called Cumberland Mountains but never any real name. They also said there is a mountian there called 4-mile mountain. And yes Bell county is in the Cumberland River Basin. The town is surrounded by a large wall and large doors that lock out the river if it's floods. Really neat looking...
