Marriage Book A; however, there is a transcription error and the marriage appears as follows: March 25, 1832 NOE, Bluford to DOWIS, Elizabeth by: F. PARMAN, minister Wm. MUNCY, bondsman On the 1840 Knox Co., Bluford LOWE appears as Bluford LAWS: LAWS, Bluford, male, bet. 30-40 . . Female, bet. 30-40 . . Male, under 5 . .Male, under 5 . .Male, under 5 . . Female, under 5 . .Female, under 5 I don't see a Bluford LOWE or LAWS on the 1830 ; however, there are several LAWS families present as well as some DOWIS families and these two could have been represented in one of those families.
