RESPONSE: Hi, I see Calloway MOORE with his parents on the 1850 Grainger Co., TN Fed. Census. I see Caloway and Nancy BENNETT MOORE on the 1870 and the 1880 Whitley Co, KY Fed. Census. Although some of the researchers did not show this child, I saw on the early birth records that Calloway MOORE and his wife had a child: Mary L. MOORE b. Dec. 20, 1874. Her death record states she died at Fayette Co., KY in the Eastern State Hospital on 9-24-1944. Since there is no 1890 Fed. Census and one would assume she had already been murdered by the time of the 1900 Fed. census by whoever her husband was long before that. Unless you know the actual name or names of ANY of her children in order that a surname could be searched, I haven't the slightest idea how you might find out more either about the former husband and/or any children. I looked at the marriage records in Knox Co. and did not locate anything. Also looked in Laurel Co. And, I checked Grainger Co., TN Perhaps you should make a look up posting to the Campbell Co., TN Message Board regarding this marriage.
