I am connected to the Bays/Lawsons. My cousin Nona Wynn married first to James Walter "Si" Bays. Si was the son of Charles Harrison Bays and Sarah Elezabeth "Betty" Lawson. Charles was the brother of Elbert Bays who married Phoebe Karr. When I heard the name Phoebe Bays, it rung a bell...I had heard my dear Mommy speak of her many times.
