RESPONSE: Hello, I really cannot help you with that birth record. Just even finding the ones I did was pretty much of a fluke. KY did not begin to record births and deaths until 1911 and even then it was far from perfect for many years. However, there were some few births that did get recorded in registry (one line) format. Several years ago you had to order the microfilm from the State of KY and then find a reader perhaps at LDS to look at the records. Now days, Ancestry.com has placed these few birth records on line. I think that must be where I located it. I just looked back and the birth of Mary L. is found in two places. It is in a Vital Stats book I have for Whitley Co. that was privately transcribed. The same information is also found when I look at the actual registry style record found placed on Ancestry. In both places the parents are named as: Calaway MOORE from Whitley Co. and Nancy BENNETT from TN.
