I have a variety of multi-generational collateral connections to the BINGHAMS, MILLS, PATTERSONS, WARRENS, HAMMANDS, RICE, HUTCHINS, MEREDITH-MERIDA, GAMBREL, MESSER, etc. etc. through the marriages of the children of Cornelius and Sally WALKER TAYLOR. The James "Frank" WARREN who at one point was married to Thursann BROWN is a relative, for example. Not that I think he was worth powder and lead to blow himself up with as the expression goes. He was married multiple times (something like 12 or so). Was found guilty of prostitution or running a house along with another relative and on top of it all, was most probably guilty of incest with his own daughter. I generally just accept what all these folks did and go on but this man "took the cake" as they say. If you trace him backwards, you end up with TAYLORs back to Mary Ann TAYLOR b. 1815 married James Henry WARREN II. Same for the PATTERSONS who were married to some of the TAYLORS. Somewhere in the mix I also have a BROWN-TAYLOR marriage. James "Frank" WARREN was the TAYLOR equivelant in marriages to old Henry BROWN married to the PRINCE female and so many others he could hardly keep track of them or all his children. However, James WARREN had more marriages than Henry BROWN did. Lots of my TAYLORs lived in the area off Alex Creek and Upper Stinking Creek where originally Cornelius TAYLOR's land was in the area bordering on Bell Co. and to upper end in Clay Co.
