This undated obit was cut out of an unknown newspaper. I found the newspaper clipping in a bunch of old papers belonging to Mrs. Bertha (Jones) Sturgill of Corbin. I would like to know who Georgia "Dolly" Taylor was to Bertha (Jones) Sturgill. I wonder if they were old school chums or childhood friends that grew up together. Bertha was born Jan 1905 and grew up not too far from Pine Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Joe Humphress Funeral services for Mrs. Joe Humphress, 35, who died Tuesday at her home in Indianapolis, Ind., will be conducted Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the O'Neil Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. William Huie. Burial will be in the Pine Hill Cemetery by the O'Neil Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jack Herb, Charles Babb, Alan Dizney, Charles Hutson, Herman Leick, Emby McKeehan, Harold Messer, Gayle O'Neil, Dan Rawlings, Foley Ruggles and James Tankersley. She is survived by her husband, Joe Humphress; one son, Glen B. Humphress and one daughter, Nancy Alice Humphress; parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.L.
