I found Susan Fry's death certificate image at Ancestry's Kentucky Death Records, 1852-1953 site. It shows that her father was John Wrinkles, b. TN. Her mother's name is shown as "unknown." Wrinkles could certainly be a misunderstanding of Sprinkles. There were Sprinkles in Gray, Knox Co., where you indicate Susan America Sprinkle Frye died (and confirmed by her death certificate). These Knox Co. Sprinkles were from VA (Lee Co.), some of whom lived for a time in TN. That said, I cannot identify a John Sprinkles of an age to be Susan America's father. But let me work on this for a while and see what I can discover. Do you have any other information about Susan America Sprinkle's family? For instance, do you know of any brothers or sisters?
