KY I don't see any Mary Ellen HUGHES/HUGHS born in 1852 and James is still in the home of his parents as of the 1860. As of the 1870 Knox Co., I don't see him at all. What information do you have that links your Mary Ellen HUGHES to this James? I guess I am curious as to when she first shows up.
