Debra Perhaps one of the Knox Co Genealogical Soc problems was in their not having meetings. Just as the old saying goes..."Out of sight, out of mind it can work the same with organizations. Traveling is difficult for me, but I would certainly do my best to attend which ever kind of meeting is set up. I just know there is a need. As Grandma Lucinda Powers used to say..."Recon we need to pray on it."...Lois . FAITH IS NOT BELIEVING THAT GOD CAN.... IT IS KNOWING THAT HE WILL!! . I too wish that there was still a genealogical society for Knox County. In one of the letters that I sent to them with book orders I asked Maxine and Virginia about the possibility of having at least one physical meeting each year to give society members a chance to meet and share information.
