Hey Sherman, it's me - Anita. My grandmother used to live a little piece down the hill from a cemetery. If you went past the chicken house, about fifty feet, more or less, was a cemetery. I believe they called it the Powers Cemetery. Right off of 225 - you could see it off the road. Mammie's house has been torn down for at least fourteen years or so. There is also another cemetery that isn't in the books, and that is Tinsley, also off of 225, going further south. It is next to a white church, and the cemetery is on the side of a hill. Getting and sharing the names and dates of the people buried there is on my "to do" list, but I don't see it being done anytime soon.
