    1. Mills family
    2. Cassy Sommers
    3. I am trying to fill in some of my Mills family. I know many people have researched this family, and I really haven't because so much has already been done on them. However, I have many Mills children listed with their spouses but no parents listed. Wondering if someone could help to fill in the parental fields. 1. Albert Mills who married Nadine Broughton. Would guess they were born about 1940's as Nadine's mother, Minnie Jordan was born in 1916. 2. Albert Mills born in 1946 married Betty Mills. Betty's parents were Obie Mills and Edna Mae Bargo. 3. Alexander Mills b. about 1855 who married Permilla Ann Dickey. She is the child of Joseph Dickey and Mariah Bright. 4. Alvie Mills b. 1936 who married Ruth Gray. Ruth is the Child of Charles Gray and Amanda Taylor. 5. Amanda Mills who married Taylor Carnes. Taylor was born in 1900 and they married in 1920. I have no birth year for her. 6. Anna Mills who married Willie V. Hammons. Willie was born in 1882 and is the child of Wiley Hammons and Sarah Bingham 7. Anthony Mills who was born in 1867 and married Mary Carnes. She was the child of Marshall Carnes and Laodicea Woolum 8. Arthur Mills b. 1939 that married Arthena Johnson. She is the child of Claude Johnson and Maude Miller. 9. Barbara Mills that Married Jerry Wayne Bundy. I have no dates for them but my best guess who give them a birth year of about 1930's or so. 10. Ben Mills that married Flora Epperson. All I know of them is they had a daughter Lucenic that married William Emmett Newman. Ben was probably born around 1900 or so. Thank you in advance. Cassy. --

QUAST at: treenut1104@aol.com She had quite a bit that showed up at Ancestry.com There is no Solomon CHAPLIN showing on either the 1820 or 1830 Knox Co. Fed. Census. According to this Marcia, there were early children born abt. 1830 who were born at Sullivan, Moultrie Co., IL. Apparently this Solomon died in 1848 there. Mary Ann's parents were Henry HELTON and an Esther from )Orange, NC per this Marcia. Joyce Taylor Collins La Palma, CA Joyce

Although there are a number of JARVIS families living in Knox Co. as of the 1900 Fed. Census, there is NO Warren JARVIS residing there. You state you have him on the 1920 Fed. Census but you don't say WHERE. Was it in Knox Co., KY? When I ran the KY Birth CD's for a JARVIS female having CLARK children, I found this but the dates are off from what you list. It does appear it "could" be the child, Luella CLARK you mention, however. Here is what I see: CLARK, Luella b. 12-23-1921 in Campbell Co., KY; Vol. 126; Cert 62599, maiden name of mother: Mary CLARK NOTE: Unfortunately sometimes the married name vs. the maiden name is listed on the birth certificate.
