I lost my FTM file which has caused me to go back and check all of the notes left by my mother. There is a barely readable note: Rachel could be a Melton or Milton on a scrap piece of paper, no other info. there. The father of Rachel Lawson should be Berry or Barry Lawson but could not find him in the 1880 census. Would you check to see if a Melton or Milton, with a wife named Vestie/Vesty has a daughter named Rachel, age 4 in the 1880 Knox CO. census? I appreciate your help. Thanks again....

Did Elijah, son of Spencer Foley, marry Phebe Trosper in Knox Co., KY? Was she the daughter of John and Anna Woolsey Trosper? I notice the Foleys are close to my Trospers in 1810, 1820 and 1840. Do you know wher they were in later years? I can contribute quite a bit about about the Trospers if you're interested. Thank you. Lucy McTamney

Thomas's age from the 1880 fits. The Jabe SMITH on the 1880 now shows next dwelling as: Dwelling 95-96 SMITH, Jobi, husband, b. 3-1858, 42, mar. 20 yrs, b. KY; parents b. KY . Lizzie, dau, b. 5-1896, 4, KY I am not familiar with the SMITH family genealogy very much but it would appear there is some connection here to the folks you are looking for. I can see from various marriage records and other census that the names Tucker, Augustus, etc. are repeating family names. Perhaps someone more familiar with this family can provide more help. I don't have any dates to go with these names. They are my husbands cousins's wife's family. All I can do is guess. Her mother ,America Smith (daughter of Zerks) was born about 1907. Her Dad, would probably be around about the same age. So, I am guessing that Genes or Jeans Smith was born about the late 1870's or 80's. So, that means that the brother's and sister's were born in the late 1890's and the early 1900's. Not much to go on I admit. But I was thinking that their names were not common names. I can't remember ever coming across the names Camel and Tucker or Gussie, Hope someone has came across these names, in the 1880 or 1900 census of Knox Co. Ky. Helen
