Was Elizabeth married before marring Felix? As I have him and Beth being married in 1871 also. And Beth being a nick name for Elizabeth would make sense they were the same person. Thanks, Cassy.

WOOLUM SLUSHER) . She died in 1870. then married May 26, 1871 in Knox co. to Elizabeth HAMMONDS and mar. to Mary MOORE, b. 1859 who aft. Felix's death married Addison MERIDA (s/o Mahala TAYLOR and Bradley MEREDITH) I don't have a marriage to Beth WARREN but that is not to say it could not be. With regard to your questions in the second paragraph, you are correct. I've just recently learned from a direct descendant, Anthony JONES, that Barren Danby ALLEN had yet another marriage in 1914. I'd have to look again at this e-mail to give you the particulars. Joyce Taylor Collins La Palma, CA

So, John ALLEN, b. abt. March 1877 in Orange Co., IN who mar. Aug 26, 1895 in Knox Co. to Daisy BINGHAM, b. Nov 1879 in Knox; d. Feb. 13, 1968 in Harlan Co. are your g-grandparents. I have 10 children listed for them but there may be more. Since you are a JONES, I will take a guess that your grandparents were: Jake JONES who mar. Bertha ALLEN. I only have 4 children listed for them from the 1920 Harlan Co. Fed. Census. There may have been more. Do you have a date of death for John ALLEN and a burial place for John ALLEN and Daisy BINGHAM ALLEN? Do you have a marriage date for Jake JONES and Bertha ALLEN? Assuming your grandparents were Jake JONES and Bertha ALLEN, then who were your parents? I have sent you a couple files. If you need additional information, please contact me directly. Does anyone have any info on this Ada Mills or know how I would get this death certificate? And would the certificate give me any clues as to her parents or husband? Ada was born abt. 1906 Clay Co to Lucy Hubbard born March 1884 Clay Co. Daughter of Isaac Ike and Julie Ann Gray Hubbard. Lucy married a Harris I think after Ada was born. Ada we think was raised by the Hubbard and may have went by the name Ada Hubbard, Harris or Davis/Davidson before she married a Mills. I would appreciate any help I can get. Thanks, Sharon I show Ada Mills died Oct 10, 1975 in Knox County. Age 70 Death Certificate 25441 in Vol 51
Hi List. I received this email today and was wondering if anyone is connected or has any info on this family. Thanks, Sharon Hello. My cousin and I have been working on our genealogy and are wondering if you could help us out a little. We are descendants of Blevins Smith. We have been told that his parents are James Henry Smith and Amanda Smith (Amanda's maiden name was also Smith). I see an Amanda Smith married to James Henry Smith on your information and am wondering if this could be our family. I dont see any information for Amanda, but if this is my great-great-great grandmother I can help fill in a lot of your information for the following generations. If you could help me figure this out, I'd be more than happy to get you the information I have for Amanda and James Henry Smith. We would also like to know if the Smith family immigrated here (and from where) or if they were her pre-revolution. We have heard stories of indian descent. 1. Thomas Smith II +Female Unknown Davis 2. Thomas Smith III +Eunice Nancy Lewis 3. Jabel Sr Smith +Roseannah Rhoda Jones 4. John Speed Smith +Francis Ann Waggoner 5. Amanda Smith +James Henry Smith (If this is our family, it will continue as follows) 6. Blevins Smith +Betsy Jordan 7. Andrew Jackson Smith +Polly Ann Estep 8. LB Smith +Clara Hurst 9. Gary Smith +Vicky McLaughlin 10. Leigh Anne Smith 11. Christopher Smith There are several children and we know quite a bit of information about Polly Ann Estep's family also.

I am curious about this cemetery as my father, Colson E. Stevens, was born in Flat Lick in 1900. His parents and grandparents lived in the area. I have been searching for the graves of his grandfather, Henry Clay Stephens, and his great grandmother Mahala Davis Messer. I wondered if you happened to notice these names?
