On Cal Lawson's social security info it shows his birth date as May 31, 1885. But the 1900 census shows 5-1888. So I'm not sure yet if Isaac Payne had two women pregnant at the same time or if Cal was born before he married Sarah Carmack. I would love to have any info you might have on Isaac Payne. Thanks, Lesa

She has worked on this line for about 30 years, has left me to tie up loose ends and find the ones she could not. I would love to get the information on Robert Clifton. Sarah was married first to James Donaldson MCCLELLAN (s/o Robison G. MCCLELLAN and Elizabeth DONALSON). She had 4 children with James MCCLELLAN and 6 children with John CHILDERS. The dates I have for all Sarah's children may not be correct. Let me know if this helps you. I would love to have more info on the CHILDERS. Susan Wallace Masse smasse@wvi.com

I am interested in census records or Family Sheets as I keep thinking there is a family connection between my EDWARDS and the HALES family. Two of my Edwards ancestors lived in Hales' Households around 1850. Thanks for any information. Marie in CA. mbbollin@linkline.com <

    1. JOHN JACKSON EDWARDS, SR / RUTH CRABTREE
    2. Can anyone help me with the decendents of John Jackson Edwards, Sr born 1750 in MD and Ruth Crabtree born 1752 in MD. I am particularly interested in their sons MEREDITH b. 1775 in VA and JOHN JACKSON, Jr born 1780 in VA. A Meredith Edwards signed the marriage bond for SARAH EDWARDS to marry Jesse Barrett in 1814 in Clay Co Ky; they are my 4th g grandparents. Another Edwards I'm interested in is JACKSON EDWARDS b. TN /NC in 1826; he married Nancy Combs abt 1856 in Breathitt Co. Ky. I know there is a connection here, just don't know what it is. One of Jackson and Nancy's daughters raised my Mother & her sister whose Mother was an Edwards, haven't been able to connect the two Lines. My Mother's Edwards line is decended from ELIZABETH EDWARDS of Knox Co Ky, born 1808 in NC (census records). There seems to be THREE different lines here; but surely at least two of them connect! I've been working diligently on my Edwards' for nine years, but in certain areas I've been una! ble to find answers. Any suggestions or help welcome and Thanks. Does anyone have a current address for Casey Larsen, the address I have is nearly three years old and no longer valid. Marie in CA. mbbollin@linkline.com

Surnames: Stotts Craig Burnes Coonfield Reeder Tackett Sheeks Johnson Derington Gholson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/CBB.2ACE/5112 Message Board Post: I was researching some of my families in Knox County Ky., when I came across this name. I am not sure where this person belongs. I am a Derington descendant and I just thought someone might have an interest. The name does not show up in the index link for Knox county, but it does show up on the actual census page 669.jpg. It is the first time I have heard of a Derington being in Knox County.
