Hello, Im not to sure about this.. Maybe someone else will know for sure. But I believe it is located between Bimble and Barbourville. I remember it being on the route the school bus took. I dont think it is a town, but just a name of general location. As there are many of them in Knox County.

I am trying to sort out who brothers James Payne b. 11 Apr 1888 and Charlie Payne b. May 1899 married. Both are children of John Grant Payne and Mary jane Payne. I believe that James m. Bertha Sams d/o Greenbury Sams and that Charlie married Bertha Cole on 7 Feb 1920 parents Unknown. Does anyone know who Bertha Cole's parents were? or when Bertha Sams and james married? SC NOTE: this Jackson BUNDY mar. Lucinda BENNETT 3-2-1838 in Clay Co.) Is it possible they divorced or she died since she is not present as of 1880??? So far as I can see , there is no Lucinda BENNETT BUNDY mar. to or shown with any PHILPOT as of 1880 Clay. I checked marriages through 1889 in Clay under BENNETT and BUNDY.
